Since I don't have a lot going on at the moment, I've been spending way too much time on Netflix lately. On the bright side, I have a recommendation for anyone looking for a new show to binge. The Umbrella Academy. Now, I'm a little late to the party on this show, as the second season was recently released. But means that for those like me who are more inclined to binge-watch shows, you have 20 episodes to watch rather than just 10!

This show appealed to the nerdy side of my brain, as it is adapted from a comic book of the same name. The show follows seven siblings with super-natural abilities as they reunite after the death of their father to stop the impending apocalypse. I know a show that is centered around the world ending may not be what you want to watch given the fact that we are currently in a pandemic, but this show is fantastic. The combination of dark humor and sci-fi fantasy is the perfect combination to help you escape reality.
